Family Friendly Guidelines_____

The Spirit of this venture –

We aim to promote a family friendly website, in which both the people visiting the site and the companies advertising on it can be secure in the knowledge that only adverts which Ticket to a Million believes are both `family friendly’ and `tasteful’ will be permitted.

We would like to state that we are not criticizing or condemning those companies which are rejected, rather we deem that their websites or content in our view do not complement the values of our site.

Our Family Friendly Guidelines

As a general rule we will ask ourselves if we would want a child to view the submitted site or be subjected to its contents. As a guideline, websites promoting the following will not be permitted on www.tickettoamillion.com;

• Adult content of a sexual or pornographic nature;
• Chat lines and dating rooms;
• Money making schemes or ventures;
• Religious or political views (unless they are registered charities);
• Solely the use/consumption of tobacco or alcohol;
• Gambling;
• Hate/violence/discrimination;
• Illegal products or activities.

These are guidelines only and Ticket to a Million retains the right at its sole discretion to allow such adverts to be placed if it feels that despite being engaged in one of the above activities that the advertiser maintains its family friendly status.

Tasteful

Ticket to a Million seeks to ensure that the types of adverts and websites which feature on our site are tasteful and will not offend the companies, charities or visitors that are involved with the site. Therefore adverts and websites will also be reviewed to make sure they are tasteful and crude/rude or offensive adverts will not be allowed.

Disclaimer

Please note that there may be occasion when despite being acceptable in both of the above categories that Ticket to a Million may feel that it is still not the type of website or company which it desires to feature on our site. This is because Ticket to a Million is seeking to target a particular type of customer and visitor and can at its sole discretion reject/accept any link it does not feel should feature on the website. We do not have to give reasons for the denial/acceptance of any application.
