If the website is successful then a total of $1 million dollars will be donated to charity. $100,000 each will be given to 10 charities, the five listed below and another five chosen by the public. You can help me decide which five charities should receive donations, by registering to play and voting for your favorite charity.
By registering on this website you are helping us raise money for charity, but remember you don’t have to stop there. You can help them to continue with their good works by visiting their websites and supporting them directly.
For every 10 block advert bought $1,000 will be donated to charity. Below is some information about our five affiliated charities and what $1,000 could do for each of them

FARM-Africa is a charity which has been working with poverty and famine-stricken communities in Africa since 1985. FARM-Africa's goal is to help poor rural communities produce more food so they do not have to depend on handouts of aid.
$1,000 - Could enable FARM-Africa to provide a grant to a community group in a drought prone area of Northern Kenya, so that they can establish and manage their own projects concerned with income generation, healthcare and the environment.

HOPE for Children is a low cost charity that aims to assist children who suffer through being handicapped, orphaned, poor and exploited, in particular those living in developing countries. We achieve this by providing, promoting and advancing children’s rights to basic necessities, including education and health care, aimed at sustaining their long term development.
$1,000 – will feed 10 deprived children for two months and buy those same children the necessary clothes and books to attend school and give them the education, to have a future where they can help themselves.

The Institute of Cancer Research is at the very forefront of international cancer research. It is recognised as the world leader in researching cancer genetics and is unrivalled in its record of drug discovery. In addition, it is one of the world's most cost-effective cancer research organisations.
$1,000 – will buy our cancer research scientists a bench microcentrifuge. This vital piece of kit allows our researchers to isolate cells or DNA so they can be researched in even greater detail. Your payment is therefore making a vital difference at the very forefront of cancer research.

Peace Direct supports grassroots peacebuilding in conflict areas: In every conflict, there are local people working for peace. Peace Direct funds their work, promotes it and learns from it. With Peace Direct, support practical action to build a peaceful world.
$1,000 – will allow our charity to pay for 6 weeks work by a peace team in DRCongo, training people to resolve tribal conflicts without using violence.

Sense is the UK's leading charity for children or adults who are deafblind or have associated disabilities. Deafblindness is a combination of both sight and hearing difficulties. Sense enables deafblind people to develop greater independence for example by providing training in mobility, communications skills, advice to parents supporting their deafblind child, and funding holidays for deafblind people.
$1,000 – will allow a deafblind person to enjoy a sense holiday full of fun activities and new experiences. This will also give their family/carers invaluable respite.
